Radical Learning for Leadership
We are pleased to introduce our innovative new programme - Radical Learning for Leadership - developed in association with the University of Surrey. The programme is designed to provide a challenging new approach to transformational learning for leaders and is aimed at senior executives. It provides organisations with a robust framework for a new kind of leadership development - one that describes the full spectrum of leadership capability, inspires both individual and collective leadership development and brings about increased capacity to contribute to the organisation's success. Our Learning Model Theory
Our learning theories are focused on ‘Linking development with business’. Briefly, these cover the themes of minimising the learning transfer problem, converting ‘can do’ into ‘do do’ via ‘want to do’ and ‘allowed to do’, and translating individual competence into corporate competence. Key among these is the degree of linkage between learning and application. This hinges on the proximity between the learning material and everyday reality, and identifying the nature of the learning gap and managing the transfer problem. 
 


The Approach

What do we need to pay attention to in order to be successful? Our approach addresses the new fundamentals of leadership and management at two levels: individuals and strategic:

  • Key questions
  • Emergent thinking
  • Relevant tools and techniques
  • Where the increased emphasis should be
We have many years experience of delivering leadership development. We believe in experiential approaches to development where knowledge and action combine to generate success in the workplace. We create a learning environment which is challenging and supportive.

Programmes consist of a series of learning events that bring together a number of approaches including developing a real depth of self-awareness, followed by learning workshops on leadership, strategy and change - all of which are aligned with the organisation’s needs. This can be supported by:

  • Master classes on agreed topics
  • Action Learning groups or 'sets'
  • Executive coaching
  • The use of web-based learning together with recommended reading of articles and books
Our approach addresses subjects that include:
  • Leading change and engaging people – effective teams
  • Innovation, Creativity and Learning
  • The external role including Reputation and Ethics
We can develop, implement and deliver an approach designed to meet your specific requirements. Personal coaching or mentoring support can also be provided to enhance learning and address issues identified.
